Sexy Body Language Tips for the First Date

You are on your first date with your dreamdate. Sexual body Language signals to tell you they are hot for you. Tips on flirting for the successful dating game.

1: Gazing adoringly. When attracted to someone, we all have problems shifting our gaze. Even when the object of our lust has ceased speaking, the lustful stare is still happening. To be a little provocative, use this to your advantage, and during a pause in conversation, keep your eyes on your date to the silent count of five. Conversely, the more often your date blinks, the more nervous they are.

2: Hands. Clenched fists, tightly knitted hands or hands pressed against the mouth indicate nervousness and tension. Worse still, is if their hands are holding up their head as this shows total boredom, or they are about to collapse with fatigue or alcohol. Anxious people tend to
hold their own hands or fidget with objects on the table. Hands placed openly with palms facing upwards on the table indicate a more relaxed open person. If you are terribly nervous, try having your hands loosely clasped on the table, as this gives off better vibes than gripping your fingers together or folding your arms. Placing your hands on your chest while speaking makes you appear lively and truthful.

3: Volume of speech. If they consider you their equivalent, their tone won't be too high or too low. Very loud voices tend to belong to dominant personalities and very soft veer to the meek.

4: Subconscious autoerotic touching. Sexy thinking leads us to subconsciously touch ourselves, for several reasons. Firstly, to gain attention to various body parts. Guys and girls will both stroke their lips and girls will rub their upper arms, thighs, hips and waists. Secondly, we touch ourselves to tease the other. Thirdly, when sexually excited, blood is rushing around engorging extremities, making everything supersensitive. Touching ourselves then feels good.

5: Mouth. A very strong sexual body Language gesture is when your date starts to eat, drink or smoke faster. Thinking about sex gets you touching your mouth. Putting things in your mouth can imply that you are interested sexually. Girls lick ice cream cones, play with spoons and suck their fingers.

6: Her Hair. Interested girls will start playing with their hair. Fluffing her hair, stroking her hair, and the strongest of all, the flick of the hair, are all body Language signals of availability or flirting. However, if she should start to hide behind her hair she is showing disinterest.

7: Fiddling Guys. As guys become more sexually excited they start to give off their own flirting signals. These can include rubbing his nose, playing with his tie, sliding rings over fingers, and fiddling with loose coins in his pocket. Adjusting his hair is a sign that he is wanting to look good for you.

8:Checking out your butt. If you catch your date checking out your butt when you leave the table to visit the bar or bathroom, then they are having lustful thoughts.

9: Symbolically stripping. Undoing buttons, loosening ties, removing jackets and pushing up sleeves are all strong sexual body Language gestures. Publicly undressing without realizing it ,is mother nature's way of getting us naked with someone we share sexual chemistry with.

10: Touching. Unsure where the date is going? Try the touch test. Touch their hand, arm or shoulder. Unless they are shy, they should return the touch within 10 minutes if they like you.
On a good first date , there should be three sets of touching for three seconds each time.

11: The wineglass. The date is a winner if he is rubbing the rim of his glass with his fingers. Likewise, if she is stroking her glass up and down. If she is also making direct eye contact and playing with her straw she is definitely flirting. However, wine glasses held at chest height or higher are a sign that there will not be a second date. Likewise, if your date wraps both their hands around their glass.
The wineglass test. This is a great subconscious body language test to gauge that first date. Start playing with an object from your side of the table eg: wineglass, spoon etc. Lean forward just slightly and subtly move it just onto your date's side of the table. Remove your hands, lean back and keep talking. If your date absentmindedly pushes it back to you they are not interested. If they leave it where it is, or hold it, you are in luck. To take it further, push another object their way and leave your arms on the table. The keen date will now lean forward as well and push something from their side of the table over to you.

12: Kiss, kiss. All these are strong signals that your date is receptive to a kiss: touching their mouth, licking their lips, putting their head close to yours, eating and drinking seductively, and tilting their head while looking at you.
Start the kiss with a soft light brush against their lips. If they pull back, clench their lips or slap your face, you should stop! If they lean in, part their lips or touch the back of your neck they are happy to continue.

The art of flirting through nonverbal communication has never been easier! Use this dating advice for interpreting body language and sending out your own sexual signals. Flirt that first date into a second date!

Happy Flirting! Coco Swan.

Overcoming Communication Barriers Between People

When you send a message, you intend to communicate meaning, but the message itself doesn't contain meaning. The meaning exists in your mind and in the mind of your receiver. To understand one another, you and your receiver must share similar meanings for words, gestures, tone of voice, and other symbols.

1. Differences in perception

The world constantly bombards us with information: sights, sounds, scents, and so on. Our minds organize this stream of sensation into a mental map that represents our perception or reality. In no case is the perception of a certain person the same as the world itself, and no two maps are identical. As you view the world, your mind absorbs your experiences in a unique and personal way. Because your perceptions are unique, the ideas you want to express differ from other people's Even when two people have experienced the same event, their mental images of that event will not be identical. As senders, we choose the details that seem important and focus our attention on the most relevant and general, a process known as selective perception. As receivers, we try to fit new details into our existing pattern. If a detail doesn't quite fit, we are inclined to distort the information rather than rearrange the pattern.

2. Incorrect filtering

Filtering is screening out before a message is passed on to someone else. In business, the filters between you and your receiver are many; secretaries, assistants, receptionists, answering machines, etc. Those same gatekeepers may also 'translate' your receiver's ideas and responses before passing them on to you. To overcome filtering barriers, try to establish more than one communication channel, eliminate as many intermediaries as possible, and decrease distortion by condensing message information to the bare essentials.

3. Language problems

When you choose the words for your message, you signal that you are a member of a particular culture or subculture and that you know the code. The nature of your code imposes its own barriers on your message. Barriers also exist because words can be interpreted in more than one way. Language is an arbitrary code that depends on shared definitions, but there's a limit to how completely any of us share the same meaning for a given word. To overcome language barriers, use the most specific and accurate words possible. Always try to use words your audience will understand. Increase the accuracy of your messages by using language that describes rather than evaluates and by presenting observable facts, events, and circumstances.

4. Poor listening

Perhaps the most common barrier to reception is simply a lack of attention on the receiver's part. We all let our minds wander now and then, regardless of how hard we try to concentrate. People are essentially likely to drift off when they are forced to listen to information that is difficult to understand or that has little direct bearing on their own lives. Too few of us simply do not listen well! To overcome barriers, paraphrase what you have understood, try to view the situation through the eyes of other speakers and resist jumping to conclusions. Clarify meaning by asking non-threatening questions, and listen without interrupting.

5. Differing emotional states

Every message contains both a content meaning, which deals with the subject of the message, and a relationship meaning, which suggests the nature of the interaction between sender and receiver. Communication can break down when the receiver reacts negatively to either of these meanings. You may have to deal with people when they are upset or when you are. An upset person tends to ignore or distort what the other person is saying and is often unable to present feelings and ideas effectively. This is not to say that you should avoid all communication when you are emotionally involved, but you should be alert to the greater potential for misunderstanding that accompanies aroused emotions. To overcome emotional barriers, be aware of the feelings that arise in your self and in others as you communicate, and attempt to control them. Most important, be alert to the greater potential for misunderstanding that accompanies emotional messages.

6. Differing backgrounds

Differences in background can be one of the hardest communication barriers to overcome. Age, education, gender, social status, economic position, cultural background, temperament, health, beauty, popularity, religion, political belief, even a passing mood can all separate one person from another and make understanding difficult. To overcome the barriers associated with differing backgrounds, avoid projecting your own background or culture onto others. Clarify your own and understand the background of others, spheres of knowledge, personalities and perceptions and don't assume that certain behaviors mean the same thing to everyone.

What is a Communicative Approach to English Language Teaching?

A Communicative Approach?

There are a variety of approaches to teaching English as a second or foreign Language. One aspect of English and foreign Language teaching involves using a Communicative Approach. But what exactly does using a communicative approach mean?

Well for me, a Communicative Approach to Language teaching includes several distinct aspects. We'll mention two of them here. Applying these aspects means that language teaching and learning become far more than a series of grammar lessons and vocabulary lists. For language teaching and learning to be truly communicative, it must not only be in context, but used to convey ideas, preferences, thoughts, feelings and information in a way that is addressed to reach others. Usually, I address communicative language teaching through the use of two approaches:

o Content-Based Instruction (CBI)

o Task-Based language teaching (TBLT)

Definitions of CBI vs. TBL in ELT

In CBI (Widdowson, 1978), the focus of classes is not on the language and structure itself, but rather on learners acquiring skills or knowledge using English as the language of instruction. If you teach a learner how to repair computers, for example, and use English as the language of instruction, the learners improve their language communicative skills while learning foremost the skill of computer repair.

Task-Based Learning in ELT

In the TBLT approach (Willis, 1996), the focus is on providing communicative activities needed for English language learning, performing tasks using the target language (English) and using the English language in other ways for learning tasks. Examples would be having learners buy postage to mail a letter by first teaching them the structures and language needed to perform the task, then actually having them do it. Another example would be teaching learners the needed English to order a meal in a restaurant, or make a shopping purchase, then allowing them to complete such tasks on their own using unguided or free speech.

In the publication, "Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching" by Jack C. Richards and Theodore S. Rodgers (CUP, 2001) more than a dozen approaches to ELT are explored in depth. From the now defunct Grammar-Translation and Situational approaches to Total Physical Response (TPR), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Lexical approaches to the Communicative approaches, the Natural approach and Cooperative Learning, English and foreign language teachers world wide have a much greater language teaching approach repertoire than ever before.

So, what's it going to be then?

The Importance Of The English Language

Frankly speaking, it is highly essential to know the Language for communication. In general, the most popular Language is English. In this computer age, English is the only language that any one can understand. So to say, it has become as an ideal language for expressing our feelings. First, we have to learn the language and then we have to gain fluency in the language. Unless we have the fluency in English language, it would not be possible to work with the computer. If you do not know English, then you would be in need of a translator to do the job.

The first stage of learning this language would be very interesting. Once you are fluent with the alphabets, slowly you can learn many words. It would always be better to follow the method of reading first, then writing. You can use the picture Books for this purpose. When you feel that you are familiar with the words, you can form sentences. This is the most interesting stage to learn. You just think of a sentence in your mother language, and try to write the same sentence in English. There could be some mistakes. But you should not bother about it. But, you have to write the same sentence using many different words till you are satisfied with your sentence. If you follow this way, very soon you can create sentences of your own.

The next step is learning the grammar of the language. It is quite simple and very systematic compared with other languages. There are certain rules and regulations for each and every topic in grammar of this language. As long as you follow the rules and regulations, it would be a difficult task to make mistakes. You would gain that much guidance from the grammar.
The presentation is the most important factor in communicating your feelings. So, naturally you must be sure while you are presenting. what you really wish to say. At any point, do not try to write or speak, beyond your capability. Even if it is a small and simple sentence, it would reach the receiver perfectly. This is our basic idea. Slowly, you can improve the standard of your language by practice. If you know to form the sentences, it is more than enough to go deep into the subject. Though this only an article about the importance of the English Language, we have to learn some of the basic points in presenting the sentences.
There are three different types of sentences: They are,
1. Statements. 2. Interrogative sentence. 3. Imperative sentence. 4. Exclamatory sentence. To begin with, you must know the difference between a phrase and a sentence.

Phrase is a group of words, which gives meaning, but not complete meaning.
A sentence is a group of words, which makes a complete sense.

1. Statement: The sentence starting with nouns or pronouns is known as statement.

Example: Rome is a church city.

2. Interrogative sentence: There are two types of interrogative sentences.

a. "wh" type question. The sentences starting with the following fords are "wh" type question. What, When, Where, Who, How many, How long and etcetera.
Example: Why did you come late? 2. What are you doing there?

b. "yes or no" type question. For which sentences you get the reply either with yes or no they are called yes or no type question.
Example: Is your father a doctor? The answer: No sir.

3. Imperative sentence: The sentence that gives command, request, and advice is known as Imperative sentence. Example: Walk on the pavement. 2. Eat regularly.

4. Exclamatory sentence: The sentence that expresses the sudden feelings or strong emotions is known as exclamatory sentence.

Example: Alas! He is dead. 2. Oh! What a beautiful sight.

When you are familiar with the above points, it would be very interesting to you to create many wonderful sentences.
In general, the sentences are divided into three different kinds. They are,
1. Simple sentence. 2. Compound sentence. 3. Complex sentence.

Though it very essential to have knowledge in handling the above sentences, we have to study them separately. In this essay, we are talking about the importance of the language.
Many people make mistakes even with the usage of articles. It is a pity that even scholars may make mistakes. So, you should not get dejected with your style of writing.

There is a lot of difference between these two. 1. a few 2. few
When you want to say that you have friends, you have to say that," I have a few friends."
When you want to say that you do not have friends, you have to say that, "I have few friends."

This is the opposite meaning of the word, many.
Apart from these, there are many points to be discussed later.
When you feel that you are already strong on the above subjects, you can develop your knowledge for betterment of your knowledge. As long as you educate yourself, you will come across many new things. There is no end for learning. All the above points are used in the normal usage of English. The literature value of the English Language is entirely different and should be dealt separately.

Where Did The Spanish Language Originate?

Castile in the north of Spain began as a county with the
appointment of the first Count of Castile, (Count Rodrigo)
in 850. Castile was at that time a vassalage depending from
the kingdom of Leon, one of the early kingdoms prior to the
formation of the kingdom of Spain.

This is the area credited with the first development of the
Spanish Language.
From the time of the earliest recorded form of the Castilian
Language up to the 15th century it was generally known as
Old Spanish, while from the 16th century onwards it is
referred to as Modern Spanish.

After the decline of the Roman Empire in the 8th and 9th
centuries the Castilian Language developed from Vulgar Latin
(the Romance Language), which was spoken with dialectic
differences throughout the Roman Empire. The development of
the Castilian language, destined to become the Official
Spanish language, followed along a distinctly different path
from the language of eastern Iberia. The language was
influenced by Basque in the north and Mozarabic in the
south. The various dialects of Romance languages spoken in
the Iberian lands under Moorish influence were collectively
known as Mozarabic.

In 1035 the Castilian county became a kingdom, under the
reign of Fernando I. Shortly after, Fernando led a
coalition of Castile and Navarre in a war against Leon in
which the king of Leon was killed. As the slain king had no
offspring, Fernando, brother-in-law to the dead king,
claimed the crown of Leon. This brought about the first
union of the two kingdoms, Leon and Castile. They were
partitioned again in 1195 and finally re-united in 1230.

The name Castile simply means "land of castles". Early
castles dated from the 12th century, though there were some
Moorish castles earlier than that. The Moorish castles have
in the main been either lost to the ravages of time or used
as the foundation for building a more recent castle. As the
Castilian-Leon kingdom expanded, they continued building
castles to consolidate their hold on the newly acquired
land.

The kingdom of Leon-Castile continued to increase its power
and the fall of Toledo in 1085 marked the start of a decline
in the Moorish hold on the rest of the Iberian peninsular.
During the 16th century Spain became the unified Kingdom of
Spain with the Castilian version of the language confirmed
as the official Spanish language.

The Spanish language, (Espanola as it is officially known),
has increased in stature and popularity. Today Spanish is
spoken by in excess of 400 million people, including those
who speak it as a second language. The Spanish language is
recognized as an official language in such organizations as
the United Nations and the European Union among others.
Increasingly, when people wish to study a second language,
Spanish is the language they choose.

The Absolute Guide To Read Women Body Language - Don't Approach Women Without Reading This

Normally, there is a special dynamic operating in male-female relationships. While females tend to adopt a passive, receptive demeanor, males are more active and initiative. A typical example at a club is: Girls expect to be approached, while guys are expected to approach girls. A girl can do two things to improve her success: She can look her best, dress in high heels, push-up bras, etc., and she can also give inviting signs for a guy to approach her. A guy will be more likely to approach a girl who looks good in his eyes, but he will also go for a less hot one if she shows signs of interest and he sees the green light.

Thus, in a typical male-female interaction, the female will signal with her body Language and behavior that she is ready to proceed, while the male will respond to her signs, calibrate and advance accordingly. He will have to go through the steps and initiate, as she expects him to. Once again, this is about leading. No matter how good a conversationalist you are and no matter how attracted to you she is, you will always have to be the one initiating. Some aggressive and horny women will do it for you, but that's the exception and not the rule.

There are two kinds of female signals: conscious and subconscious ones. A girl will give conscious signals when she wants you to make your move. Subconscious signals are subtler and will be an automatic response to her feeling good in your company. It is very important to learn these signs. I'm sure you've laughed just as many times as I have at the typical scene in Hollywood movies: The girl is attracted to a guy; the guy is attracted to the girl, but the guy doesn't recognize the signs of interest she's sending him, which leads to a great deal of farce. Just by learning to recognize the signs women are sending, you will improve your success exponentially. In a club or in typical everyday situations, there will always be a few girls around you showing signs of interest and inviting you to approach them using body Language. If you recognize these girls and make your move, you will be likely to succeed.

You will see that sometimes certain signs can be misleading, and it's necessary to develop your intuition for such situations. For example, a waitress has to smile at everyone to get tips, and by accident, she could mislead you into thinking that she's attracted to you. To avoid this, you will need to fine-tune your intuition with experience and learn to "feel" whether she is really attracted to you or not. A professional table tennis player doesn't see the ball. He feels it. His hands move automatically while he is in a trance. A lot of practice will make you better at "feeling" the signs that women are giving, just as the table tennis player does with the ball.

So let's look at the most general conscious and subconscious signs that show she is attracted to you:

1. She's relaxed while sitting or standing and talking with you. Her arms are open and not closed; her legs are either wide apart or crossed with her feet pointing toward you.

2. She's comfortable in your company. When you lean closer to her, she stays in the same position and doesn't pull away.

3. She leans closer while talking with you or sits closer when you're sitting next to each other.

4. She smiles a lot, even laughing at your lamest jokes, or she compliments you on something unremarkable.

5. She touches you sometimes on your arms or shoulder when talking with you.

6. She fixes her clothes, applies more makeup in the restroom or exposes parts of her body, revealing skin and showing erotic body parts.

7. She rubs her wrists up and down, and she rubs, touches or strokes her cheek.

8. She plays with her hair, pushing her fingers through it or twirling a few curls in a slow, sensual motion.

9. She looks deep into your eyes while smiling, her pupils dilated. She blinks faster than usual or keeps looking into your eyes in a longing way, like your dog when you're about to feed him.

10. When you touch her or put your arms around her, she's comfortable with it; she might even snuggle closer to you.

11. When you extend your hand to her, she takes it and keeps holding it as if you are already a couple.

12. She bites her lips and licks them, showing her tongue, or she moistens her lips with lipstick. She puts a finger or nail into her mouth or over it in a sexual way - these are signs of sexual thoughts, and they are usually signs of arousal.

13. She rubs her legs together and presses them to the legs of the table or to your legs under the table - another sign of sexual arousal.

14. She plays with her wine glass, her jewelry or another object with a rubbing, stroking, sensual motion.

15. The way she sits or stands reflects your body language; she is mirroring you.

Of course, she can't be doing everything at the same time. But, if you encounter more than two or three of them (especially the more serious ones), she is likely to be heavily attracted to you and wanting you. A word of warning: Just as there are shy guys, there are also shy girls. They might have a harder time showing signs of interest and flirting with you. They might also try to hide these signs. You will recognize them from their girlish confusion.

And now let's see some negative body language, showing disinterest and less attraction to you:

1. She breaks eye contact and looks away when you try to look into her eyes.

2. She grimaces, showing that she is simply bored. She never smiles.

3. When you ask a question, she responds after a pause: "What did you say?" and it's obvious that she is thinking about something else or is somewhere else mentally.

4. There are long, awkward silences in your conversation, and she doesn't show any interest in breaking the silence or bringing up any new topics.

5. Her legs and arms are crossed; she is sitting at a distance, or she turns away from you. She leans back, and when you lean closer, she moves away or just acts as if she's uncomfortable.

6. She doesn't react to your jokes and doesn't laugh with you; she may express polite surprise.

And the list goes on. Although persistence is a good trait to have and sometimes by being persistent, you can recover from the most hopeless situations, the negative signs described above show that you've done something wrong, and it might be time to move on and search for another girl. Never be disappointed; success will come with determination and time.
